Tonglen is an old Asian meditation practice, offering us the ability to explore and relate to a difficulty in a specific, more intimate way. It could be referred to as a paradoxical practice that can be very helpful in relating to stress and difficulties. In a secular compassion training – the Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living or MBCL training – we have tried to make this peculiar practice more accessible and refer to it as ‘Compassionate Breathing’. In this webinar we shall explore ‘Compassionate Breathing’ in theory and with specific exercises.

All who are familiar with the practice of mindfulness are welcome, a part of the income of the evening will be used as a support for the Red Cross.
