Mindfulness, befriending life.

For anyone who wants to learn more about mindfulness.

Barbara Doeleman-van Veldhoven will give an introduction to mindfulness. You’ll learn about:

• What is mindfulness (not)?

• What do we know from science about the effects of mindfulness training on holistic health, but also on collaboration and leadership?

• How can we develop qualities of mindfulness and what can you start with today?

As a member of our International Compassion Community, you can participate in the webinar free of charge. You will then be automatically sent the correct details to log in so you can easily log in from 8:20pm CEST. The webinar starts at 8.45 PM CEST (7.45 GMT).

Becoming a member is super easy and for people who are less financially able, we have added the option to join for free.

All webinars can be attended as a member of the International Compassion Community (one to two per year are English spoken) in addition you can meditate with us four times a week (on Thursdays the meditation is English spoken). Would you like to know more and also become a member?

Barbara Doeleman-van Veldhoven is founder and director of BFC Compassionate Care & Mindful Medicine.  Her educational background, her professional experience as well as her dedicated contemplative practice all make her an expert in the integration of  leadership, teamwork, science, mindfulness, compassion and spirituality in day to day life. She coaches executives and professionals, facilitates teams, stewards mindfulness and compassionate leadership trainings and guides retreats. She does this with lighthearted humor, kindness, groundedness and sharp clarity. Though the roots of her practice and daily life are Dutch, her work includes international collaborations with other experts and contemporaries in the field – integrating compassion in teamwork and leadership to foster compassionate working cultures. She lives in the Netherlands, together with her husband Wytze and their two sons Eef and Ramses.

The webinar is given on the basis of Dana. Dana is a word from Pali and is often translated to generosity, voluntary giving or donation. Generosity is seen within Buddhism as an important aspect for spiritual growth and transformation. A Dana is not compensation for a service rendered but a gift from the heart.
